Yosemite Whitewater Special

Zephyr Whitewater is the largest whitewater rafting outfitter near Yosemite, and our launching points for our rafting trips on both the Merced and Tuolumne Rivers are just outside Yosemite National Park.  A whitewater rafting trip down either or both of these rivers can easily be combined with a visit to Yosemite.  

Two Great Yosemite Rivers in 2, 3, or 4 days...it's your choice

Our meeting spot for our Merced river trips is only 5 minutes from the Highway 140 entrance (Arch Rock) into Yosemite, and about 30 minutes from the Valley floor itself.  Our Tuolumne river meeting location is 1 hour and 15 minutes north of Yosemite on the Highway 120 entrance into Yosemite.

With this in mind, we offer our Yosemite Whitewater Special. Raft the Merced river, follow that with a night and a day in Yosemite Valley, follow that with two days rafting on the Tuolumne river and you have an unforgettable whitewater vacation package.

Most people raft for one day on the Merced, and then spend either 2 or 3 days on the Tuolumne, and driving time between the two is only about 1.5 very scenic hours. If you choose, spend a day or two in Yosemite (on your own) between river trips. For pricing, we take the normal price of both river trips, and then deduct 5% off the whole package.

But you do not need to book both rivers to enjoy rafting near Yosemite...you can just book a normal trip on either river and have a blast either way.  We just give you a bit of a discount if you combine the 2 rivers into a Yosemite Whitewater Special.
