| Written by kids for kids, these pages are a wonderful pre-trip
read for kids from age 7 to 14. (Adults can learn something from them too!). Nathan (age
12), and Adam (age 9) Ferguson (ages as of 1996), the sons of Zephyr owners Bob and Jane Ferguson, compiled
this guide based on their own river experience. A brief history of man in the area is discussed, as well as what plants and animals are likely to be seen (with some real good drawings). Things to bring ("football") and things not to bring ("bad attitude") are also discussed. There's an activity page of things kids can do both in camp and on the river.
