2008 River Trip Starting Dates
- Kings River — Rafting trips leave daily from April through July or August depending on snow-pack.
- Merced River — Trips leave daily from April through mid to late July and even into August depending on snow-pack.
- American River — Trips daily from May through September.
- Tuolumne River — The table below represents all our our launch dates. Note: 3-day trips are best after mid June. And the yellow launches are good for either 1 or 2-day trips, except for yellow launches after July 20. These must be one-day trips.

About Tuolumne Flows
In most years with normal snow-pack, water releases
from Hetch Hetchy reservoir near Yosemite typically provide runnable
flows seven days per week prior to about July 1, and six days
per week (every day but Sunday due to lack of power generation
on Sundays) after July 1. This means that on 3 day trips launching
on Saturdays after July 1, Sundays are generally layover days... perfect
opportunities to unwind, pool-hop and explore the Clavey river,
and perhaps hike to abandoned mining sites, fish, read, or just plain
