Family Whitewater River Rafting Trips

Family whitewater rafting Family whitewater river rafting has become increasingly popular in the last few years. Kids have a ball on our rafting trips, and we are absolutely convinced that families that have rafted together have become more bonded, more tightly knit, and can share their whitewater memories with each other for a lifetime. These trips are recommended for the experienced rafter also, but they generally require less physical stamina than our more advanced rivers. Please refer to our schedule for minimum ages on all trips.

On most rivers that we run, we have very generous youth rates, with "youth" being 17 years old or younger.  Please refer to our rates page for pricing information.

Internet Special — Kids 50% off Kings river trips.

Kids having fun On weekday (Mon-Fri) trips on the Kings river, each child 17 years and younger, when accompanied by an adult at full rate, rafts for half the adult price. To qualify, each child must be matched with a full paying adult, and the adult must be an immediate family member, as this very generous discount is designed to promote families rafting together.  Note: our 50% family discounts do not apply to our 1/2 day trips.

Also...

Families with a child (or children) too young to actually raft can bring along a "nanny" to stay with the child while the rest of the family rafts.  Our Kings base camp is an ideal place to "hang out" during the day until the rest of the family returns to camp around 5:00 p.m.  If a nanny is not available, one parent can stay in camp with the child while the other parent rafts. On day 2, parents can switch allowing the other parent to raft. The cost per non rafting adult is $85.00, which includes 2 nights camping and 5 meals.  The entire family can then be together for dinner, the evening slide show (showing YOU rafting!), camping, and breakfast.  Also, kids 5 and younger are free!  Bring the entire family whitewater rafting and the memories will shine for years to come.
